Contractor state license is not expired and is correctly registered with the state.
Contractor is registered with the municipality in which the home is situated and applies for ALL required permits in that municipality and has ALL necessary inspections completed.
Contractor has performs an Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) Manual J 8th Edition heat loss/heat gain load calculation on the home to properly size ALL add-on or replacement forced air comfort system installations and/or performs a calculation of connected Equivalent Direct Radiation (EDR) to determine the Net IBR (International Boiler Rating) requirement to properly size replacement hot water and steam heating equipment. Contractor provides homeowners with equipment performance certifications from the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and/or the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA).
Contractor performance tests and commissions the new system installation to include before and after airflow and static pressure measurements as well as combustion and venting efficiency, ensuring safe operation, maximum system output and optimal performance to yield the best level of comfort and lowest possible operating costs.
Our installations and services are performed in accordance with all acceptable industry practices and meet or exceed and are 100% compliant with:
- ALL local, state and national codes, including the International Residential and Mechanical Codes, National Fuel Gas Code, BOCA Electrical Code, EPA/DOE specifications, etc.
- ALL industry standards and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Equipment performance ratings are certified by Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and/or the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA).
- American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) ANSI/ACCA Standard 5 QI-2007 HVAC Quality Installation Standard.
- ANSI/ACCA Standard 6 HVAC System Cleanliness-2007 (Restoring the Cleanliness of HVAC Systems).
